He took on the time and space constraints of earth
Let a veil of flesh conceal His worth
Set redemption’s plan in motion with His birth
It was for me

It was for me
He gave up His flesh, an offering for my sin
Let God’s wrath toward me be spent on Him
Poured out His Life so my life could begin
It was for me

He threw off the time and space constraints of earth
Shed His veil of flesh, revealed His worth
Opened up for me the way to Spirit-birth
